Where the Wild Things Rest

Where the Wild Things Rest is an original oil painting that brings together the quiet beauty of the natural world and a dreamlike sense of companionship. A woman rests peacefully beside a watchful fox, surrounded by abundant roses as butterflies drift overhead. Rich jewel tones, expressive brushwork, and the unexpected gathering of human, animal, flowers, and butterflies give the piece a whimsical, story-filled quality.

This one-of-a-kind original artwork is painted by Dolores Montijo and is sold unframed.
