A long woodland stairway climbs toward a glowing doorway, while a quiet bench and lantern wait among the flowers below. Someone Was Just Here captures one of Abhaile's most intriguing moments: no keeper is visible, yet every small detail suggests a life continuing just beyond the frame.
Part of the Abhaile Living Paintings series, this work combines traditional oil painting with hand-sculpted mixed-media elements that extend the imagined world beyond the painted surface.
