Beneath a crescent moon, fireflies drift through an old forest while a little boat rests beside a warmly lit doorway at the water's edge. Fireflies Along the Water leaves behind the quiet evidence of an unseen journey—and the feeling that someone has only just returned home.
Part of the Abhaile Living Paintings series, this work combines traditional oil painting with hand-sculpted mixed-media elements that extend the imagined world beyond the painted surface.
